Hon. Arthur L. Janura, Jr., (Ret.) is a skilled mediator and arbitrator with experience in construction, tort, personal injury and medical malpractice matters. He has conducted felony hearings in criminal cases, industrial matters, traffic accident cases, contract disputes and forcible entry and detainer cases. Judge Janura is known for making well-researched decisions and for helping opponents in a legal battle find common ground.   • Lucas v. Zeta:  County and State Human Rights violations in employment and claims involving the Cook County Human Rights Ordinance

  • Short-Term Loans, LLC v. Michael B. Alaka:  Loan transaction case in which federal and state consumer protection statutes were violated; ruling in favor of the defendant and counter plaintiff-appellant
