Hon. Rodney B. Lechwar, (Ret.) is the former Presiding Judge of Will County and a skilled mediator and arbitrator with extensive experience in the resolution of civil and criminal cases. Judge Lechwar has presided over matters including probate, divorce, juvenile, zoning, condemnations and administrative reviews.

  • 12-year legal career including Will County State’s Attorney’s Office, First Assistant, 1976-1985 and Assistant State’s Attorney for Will County, 1974
  • Arbitrator, Will County Arbitration Program

  • Medical malpractice case involving hospital liability and wrongful death associated with descending aortic aneurism and surgical processes
  • Union negotiations settled involving multiple union contracts for the County of Will
