ADR Systems

News

We are pleased to announce that, starting in January 2014, ADR Systems will be a partner of the University of Chicago through its Jeff Metcalf Internship Program. The Jeff Metcalf Internship Program works exclusively with University of Chicago students – both undergraduate and graduate – to provide quality, paid internships during the summer and academic year. These internships can be a great stepping stone in a student’s career, and ADR Systems is proud to offer such an opportunity for students who seek to go into alternative dispute resolution, law, and/or marketing and business development. For more information about the Jeff Metcalf Internship Program, click here.

To apply, please go through the University of Chicago’s Career Advancement website.

ADR Systems is committed to providing quality internship experiences for students throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. We encourage our interns to give us feedback on how we can improve their experience at ADR Systems and their knowledge of ADR and the legal community. Previous interns have been given a variety of opportunities to interact with staff, neutrals, and external vendors.

Judge Burke successfully mediated a complicated case with little chance of being resolved.  He read every word of the parties' submissions, asked astute questions, and worked hard to find a path to resolution.  Judge Burke communicated with the parties themselves - so that they felt they were important participants in working toward resolution. The case I thought was never going to settle, settled.
