This year, the Boat Cruise will include a CLE presentation. We are pleased to announce that ADR Systems’ neutral, the Hon. Dennis Burke, (Ret.), will be a panelist in a presentation entitled, “Ethical Considerations Encountered by Insurers and Counsel When Handling Multiple Insureds Under Single Policy.” The panel will provide up-to-date information, tips, and strategies pertaining to litigation management.

Judge Burke is a highly regarded mediator and arbitrator. He brings to each case a wealth of experience garnered from his 15 years serving in the Circuit Court of Cook County. During his tenure on the bench, he conducted approximately 1,800 settlement conferences while presiding over 700 commercial cases and law jury trials.

Judge Burke was an early advocate for dispute resolution, and has won acclaim for his ability to use his settlement skills to resolve disputes. He is well known for his keen ability to build trusting relationships with all parties.
